We never want price point to be the only thing coming between a potential partnership with you. We pride ourselves in thinking of "out of the box" solutions to make things happen. Since our price point investments may be higher than your usual entertainment, we have creative solutions to help you stay on budget.....or to even PROFIT with your EOP event! Many of our clients have done it!
EOP has a specially designed program for schools and non-profits who cannot accept the risk of upfront costs. If interested in this program, please go to Education/Fundraising. Here are some of the innovative ways EOP can assist you to make the numbers work for everyone.
1)Fill your Venue on Multiple, Consecutive Nights: This is by far your best option to make your event investment as cost effective as possible. Our overhead is much different than many forms of entertainment, such as fireworks or bands. We will not take a risk on someone's event by rushing equipment to or from another event of significant distance. For example, while it is technically possible for a laser show in Pittsburgh, PA on Friday evening to be in Raleigh, NC on Saturday evening, we will never risk it. In this scenario, we'd always book two sets of equipments and two crews.
Why is this important? This means that equipment overhead is often the same regardless if the show runs for one day or one week. The equipment is yours for the week to use as often as you wish! Once equipment and insurance is covered for a week on the first night, the costs of additional nights is staffing. This means that your costs decrease significantly after the first night, sometimes by more than 50%. So your nightly rate comes down as you add nights.
If you are worried about having the same event two nights in a row, we can change it up to have different themes on different nights! Imagine an 80's/90's Night followed by a Top 40 Rock Night! Now you have given people a reason to come back and pay again the next night!!!
If you are looking to profit from your EOP Experience, or recover your investment, MULTIPLE NIGHT EVENTS is simply the most cost effective and best option.
2) Know Your Seasons
Ask us to help you choose the right experience based on the time of year.
We typically recommend keeping winter events short, 30-45 minutes tops. People will not want to stay out long in the cold and this allows you to fill your venue multiple times per night. (It is dark by 6:00 PM). This is a perfect time for a drive-in laser show.
In the summer, you can probably only fill your venue once per night. People want to stay out longer than 30-45 minutes and it does not get dark until 9:00 or later. Our clients can charge a bit higher price point for this event, but then give your participants a full night of entertainment. This is the beauty of a laser light glow party. We can provide your ENTIRE entertainment for several hours -- there is absolutely no need to hire any other entertainment for that night. It gets even better! Since we have day time activities, you can start your event before it gets dark, around dinner hour, so that people come to your event hungry and ready to eat. We will keep them entertained with activities and interaction until dusk arrives, the lights come on, and the party is taken to a whole new level! You can feel the excitement build as it gets darker!
Imagine a Friday night kids and family night followed by a Saturday night 21 and up night! You will sell out both nights!
3) EOP adds value to your major sponsors: We offer a unique way for you to get larger sponsors of your event We do this by creating a customized gobo slide that fits into a lighting fixture. It can then be professionally displayed on any solid background (a building, a screen, a water tower, etc.), giving your sponsor maximum exposure. Afterwards, your sponsor can keep their gobo. If we have lasers at your event, we can put logos or messages thanking your sponsors in laser light.
A gobo or laser promotion is an innovative way to add tremendous value to your sponsors and allows you to create higher sponsorship levels. Please ask us for more details as there is some prep time required. This short video gives a visual demonstration of these two options.
4) Sharing a Package: If you have contacts with other potential customers close to you that might be interested in our services, it is a win-win if you can partner with them. If we are able to get more events booked on one trip, it allows us to share some of our operating costs between clients and we can pass those savings on to you! Ideally, the customers are close enough for us to travel between in a night (30 minutes to 2 hours), but far enough apart that the two events will not compete with one another.
5) Package Events During A Year:
We can also package several events. For example, perhaps you wish to host a 4th of July, Halloween, and Christmas event. As opposed to paying for each event separately, ask about a 3 event package deal!
(Idea: You can combine this with the sponsorship idea by telling sponsors their contribution allows them to be sponsors of multiple events, thus doubling or tripling their exposure.)
6) Revenue Generation at Event:
Depending on the nature of your event, there may be activities we can do to generate income during the event. For example, people might pay $5.00 to get a name or message in lights at the event. If interested, let us know and we can discuss!
7) Shared Revenue:
If your event is going to be well marketed, we will consider partnering with you to market the event and agree on a revenue split. This may not always be a possible option, however, please do not hesitate to ask us.
