Kaitlyn brings a wealth of professional performance and event planning experience to Emerald Owl Productions. Her dance experience includes formal training in ballet, tap and jazz, all of which she studied at Dance Theater of Jacksonville. Her interest in Middle Eastern and Indian cultures lead her on a path to discover the beauty and grace of belly dance.  Kaitlyn is a former member of Jackson, Mississippi's premier belly dance troupe "MissiHippy" for over a year and a half, joining in early 2006. In 2007, Kaitlyn relocated back to her native North Carolina. Being back home, she strives to bring the art of the Middle East dance to the Down East. Kaitlyn has a B.S. in Art Education and has dedicated her life and career to performing, and educating others about the ancient dance. She performs and continues to study Cabaret, American Tribal Style, Tribal Fusion, Tribaret, and Raqs Gothique.

Kaitlyn serves two roles in Emerald Owl Productions. Based in Greenville, she uses her event experience as the Eastern NC Regional Director. As a professional dancer, she will create a new part of the EOP Experience:  Live Dance Entertainment.

The Steel City is where he and his wife, Stephanie, chose to raise their three children, Hannah, Aaron, and Rachel.  After graduating Penn State, Michael joined the rat race of the corporate world in various supply chain and logistics roles, which has given him a chance to travel throughout the USA and a few international destinations, as well.  He has served in various community organizations, coached his kids' teams, and was a board member and president of his synagogue's religious school.
Michael joined Emerald Owl after a chance meeting with founder Mike Meyer.  He looks forward to leading and growing the Emerald Owl Experience throughout the Greater Pittsburgh region.

Michael Meyer

Executive Director
(252) 764-7628
mike@emeraldowlproductions.com

Picture
Mike brings his school counseling and fundraising experience to Emerald Owl Productions. As a school counselor, he oversaw a large charity event, very similar in design to our fundraising model. His events eventually began to raise $15,000-$18,000 profit each year at a middle school. This helped create the Emerald Owl Productions model that is profitable, fun, and memorable, while providing student-led opportunities.

Mike has been interested in helping great causes through events for a long time. After visiting a neighbor's haunted house when he was in the 2nd grade, Mike begged his parents to let him have a haunted house of his own the next year. A six year tradition began,
eventually raising thousands of dollars for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attracting hundreds of people per year to walk through his parents house! Since 1984 as a 3rd grader, Mike has been planning events that are fun, bring people together, and give back to others. Mike is based in Emerald Isle.
