So you said you'd get slimed! NOW WHAT?!!?!
Maybe you have always wanted to get slimed since seeing it on old game shows. Perhaps you lost a bet with your students or employees. Or someone has talked you into this...they said it would be fun! Regardless, you are probably all at this page for the same reason......like it or not, you are about to get SLIMED!!!!!
EOP tries to make the experience for the "Slimee" (aka. "slime target") just as fun and memorable as it will be for the people who will be dumping or spraying the slime! So how do you prepare? What should you expect? This page should get you ready to experience SLIME TIME! While we use different kinds of slime for different types of events, all of our slime is biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and not toxic.
What Slime Time is NOT?
* Some people think of Oobleck or making slime with their kids using items such as borax and glue. Do not worry! This is NOT that kind of slime!
* There is nothing "gross" --- this is not Fear Factor! It is designed to be fun and bring laughs to everyone in an age when we all probably need it!
What is Slime Time?
We are going to start by stating the obvious. SLIME IS VERY MESSY!!!!! You WILL get DRENCHED HEAD TO TOE IN SLIME! Sometimes pies in the face, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles are added to make the experience even messier! If you are one who really does not like to get messy, we would definitely recommend you choose a different volunteer opportunity.

HOW TO PREPARE:
To prepare for slime time, we recommend:
* Challenge a friend or two to get slimed with you --- it much more fun for the "target" when you do it with a small group!
* Wear clothes that are ok to get dirty (what you’d wear to a Color Run or Mud Run)
* Bring a Full Change of clothes
* Bring Two towels and two washcloths
* Bring any special shampoo or conditioner you use
* Give your phone to someone else (to keep it safe and to take some hilarious photos you can share later!)
* We recommend that you do not wear a poncho or shower cap. This is particularly important if your slime time has been highly advertised or if people have donated money to slime you. Donors did not donate to slime a piece of plastic. The people at your event actually want to see YOU get slimed!
* Prepare a little good fun "Smack Talk" and dare everyone to BRING IT ON! The experience is more fun for all when the crowd sees that the "target" is a good sport.
* Plan to clean up on site. The slime comes out fairly easy if you clean up right away. If you let it sit, just like food in a baking dish, it will start to harden and become more difficult to clean later.
* If you are a teacher, arrange ahead of time for your students to be supervised by a staff member not being slimed to allow time for you to clean up. You should not expect to go immediately back inside the school when finished.
We will provide:
* Conditioner to put in hair BEFORE and AFTER Slime time which will help with clean up
* Shower wand and hose for clean-up
* Washrags to wipe eyes if needed during your slime time
