Rising Sea Mist is a business education program for youth created by Emerald Owl Programs. We offer a business leadership curriculum for schools, churches, or any youth group. Having worked in the public school system, we found that empowering the students to take an active role in the process generated even more successful fundraisers. The students take ownership of the event as opposed to just being something they attend. - Develop a sense of entrepreneurship and how to properly turn visions into reality
- Understand that the best way to help people is to create jobs in a successful environment; When people are empowered and financially sound, they can (and usually will) give more to important causes.
- Understand the importance of giving back to others
- Honesty, fairness, and the Golden Rule are traits that must be valued.
- Appreciate the need for a variety of talents and skills on a team
- Courage and perseverance are qualities that will keep you going when inevitable adversity must be overcome.
