Hello everyone,
Here is some information for tomorrow's pilot event...... Wet, Wacky, & Wild Wednesday on Wendy
TIME:
Doors Open at 5:30. Light snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water will be available. In order to allow the opportunity for those who wish to enjoy dinner before arriving, organized activities for the evening will kick off between 6:15 and 6:30 PM. Party does not have a set end time, although we anticipate wrapping up in the 9:30 range. We may go a bit later if everyone is still having fun or if we are still getting everyone a turn to participate in the games.
PARKING:
Parking is available along Wendy Lane, along the end of Hickory Street, and/or at the rear of Calvary Church, and then walk through the gate.
THINGS TO BRING:

Towels & Washcloth (some people like having a washcloth to wipe face after going in the foam)
Squirt guns
Glow items for the night, glow in the dark attire
Change of clothes (If desired....if warm, many people at our parties choose not to change)
Donation for NC State Veterinary Hospital Ollie & Steve Fund (optional)
Camera
Sense of humor
Your fun side!!!
* Note: Chairs are not provided. Folding chair, camping/beach chairs are recommended.
BATHROOMS:
Aaron and Rachel have rented one portable bathroom which will be available throughout the evening.
CHANGING TENT:
There will be a changing tent area for those who wish to change clothes before going home.
BE PREPARED TO GET DRENCHED:
All in attendance, including adults and older siblings should fully expect to get drenched. If it looks like you are not dressed to get drenched, you may actually get even more drenched!!!! We have a couple games where the goal of the game is for the younger kids to drench the adults! And we will pick people out of the crowd from time to time for everyone to soak!
FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT GET WET:
If for any reason you cannot get wet, please see Aaron or Rachel upon arrival to get a red wristband and wear it clearly. Also be sure to stay away from the Drench Zones! We will announce for people not to drench people with red wrist bands, however, please know we have no way to ensure it does not happen.
PHONES:
Plastic ziplock bags will be available for phones.
SLIME TIME:
We have 3 confirmed slime targets. They are fully aware that being a slime target is extremely messy, so don't worry -- it is totally fine to encourage your kids to participate and slime them to their hearts content! Please know that since slime will splatter, it is not uncommon for the kids to end up with some slime too! Slime is edible and totally safe for consumption (flour, pudding, water, dyed power)
Kids love getting the adults and older siblings! If you are willing to end up slimed, please e-mail us in advance and then see Rachel and Aaron upon arrival and get a GREEN bracelet.(Note that a green bracelet does not guarantee you will get slimed). If you have long hair, see us to get some conditioner before getting slimed! It will help with clean-up!
EOP STAFF & GUESTS:
Mike Meyer will be the emcee for the evening. Tiffany Jordan will assist with games. Mike's friend from Ukraine, Svitlana Horyelova, and her daughter, Tetiana, will also be in attendance. (They are fleeing the current situation there and excited to meet everyone.) Svitlana will also assist with some of the games and she has even signed up to be a slime target, along with Rachel and Tiffany!
BAD WEATHER MAKE-UP DATES:
In the event of bad weather on Wednesday, the following dates are rain dates (in order):
Thursday, July 21
Sunday, July 24
Tuesday, July 26 (If this were to become the rain date, the party will have to start and end earlier, however, hopefully we will not be that unlucky!) We will send out an e-mail if we need to use a bad weather date.
SURVEY:
A brief survey will be e-mailed to you within a few days of the completion of the event. We ask that you please take the time to gives us feedback. Some of our best ideas have come from people in attendance at our events!
Thank you again for your interest in Emerald Owl Productions! We hope you have a memorable and fun evening with your families!
Mike
